INQUIRE: BINARY Specifier (W*32)

The BINARY specifier asks whether a file is connected to a binary file. It takes the following form:

BINARY = bin

bin

Is a scalar default character variable that is assigned one of the following values:

'YES'	If the file is connected to a binary file
'NO'	If the file is connected to a nonbinary file
'UNKNOWN'	If the file is not connected
