Tutorial, first steps

If you have not installed VASP yet, please read section 3.2 now. The files necessary for the calculations discussed in the tutorial can be found on the VASP file server (in tutor/...). The VASP executable must be available on your local machine (ideally placed somewhere in your search path). If the term search path is unknown to you, you should stop reading this section, and you should get a UNIX guide to learn more about the shell enviroment of UNIX.
